Altus™ Flush Mount Lift & Slide Handle in Matt Black

The Rockwell Altus™ lift and slide handle is built for today’s large panoramic door walls, where the hardware should feel as effortless as the glass looks. Lift the 9″ handle, rotate it 180°, and the heavy sliding panel rises onto its rollers, ready to glide open. When you’re done, the spring-loaded handle retracts on its own into the recessed interior plate, and concealed magnets hold it flush so it stays put. Nothing sticks out, nothing rattles, and nothing gets in the way of the view.

Finished in Matt Black over drop forged solid brass, the Altus pairs a minimalist flush profile with the strength a lift and slide door needs.

How the Altus Works

1. Lift: Pull the handle out of its recessed housing.
2. Rotate 180°: Turn the handle over to the unlocked position. This raises the panel so it can slide.
3. Slide: Glide the door open, using the exterior flush pull from outside.
4. Release: The spring-loaded mechanism returns the handle into the plate, and concealed magnets lock it flush in place.

It works the way people expect a handle to work, so guests and family can use it without instructions.
