SFDL013132 Rockwell Steel Deadlatch Mortise Lock – 31/32″ Backset

The Rockwell SFDL013132 is a steel mortise deadlatch for narrow stile aluminum and glass storefront doors. The latch catches automatically every time the door closes, and its deadlocking feature keeps it from being pushed back with a card or blade once the door is shut. Day-to-day operation is by a push-pull paddle or lever; a key cylinder handles locking and unlocking.

It is a direct replacement for the Adams Rite® 4530 deadlatch with a 31/32″ backset. It takes a standard 1-5/32″ mortise cylinder with an MS-type cam, and the Rockwell paddles, strike and faceplates below complete the opening without a second supplier.

• Latchbolt: 1/2″ × 1″, 17/32″ (13.5 mm) throw, with plastic sleeve
• Auxiliary bolt: Deadlocks the latchbolt when the door is closed

Complete the lock: a deadlatch faceplate, a push-pull paddle in aluminum (left hand or right hand) or bronze (left hand or right hand), the SFST1 double or SFST2 single strike, and an SC1 mortise cylinder in aluminum or bronze.

Which backset do I need? Measure from the edge of the door to the center of the cylinder hole. This deadlatch is 31/32″. It is also available in 1-1/8″.
